The SharkGrip 10” Pry Bar
SharkCorp. has crafted a great combination of a pry bar and a nail puller in one tool. Meet the exceptional SharkGrip “fishtail” 10” Pry Bar. It is the thinnest of its kind available in the market today. Designed to outmatch all others, it is made from the most refined heat-treated Japanese alloy steel for exceeding strength.
The super-thin design allows the Pry Bar to slide into even the narrowest cracks. Excellent for removing all types of moldings and trims, carpet strips and staples, and even for aligning windows and doors during installation, this slender yet hard-wearing tool can cut in the tightest spaces possible.
The “cat’s paw” nail puller removes embedded 16d and larger nails with great ease. For pneumatic nails that have weak heads that could fold or get cut off when pulled out by the head, the SharkGrip can be used to pull from the shank of the nail and not the head.
The sharp “V” clutches nail shanks at any position. This hardened “V” makes a strong bite into the nail’s shank to make the removal process a breeze. The curved underside of the puller can easily dig into wood and slide under the head of the embedded nail or the shanks of headless ones. The back of the nail puller can also be used as a striking head for a hammer to give more ease to the pulling operation.
The SharkGrip Pry Bar is one fantastic tool that is preferred by many professionals. With both the tang and the sharp “V” nail puller hardened to a Rockwell classification of 50-52 and double-tempered like the pry blade, it is made for extreme durability and lasting sharpness. It has an I-Beam construction with Rockwell hardness of 45-47 to give it surpassing strength and a first class torque. It also performs perfectly as a multi-purpose scraper for peeling away old paint and smoothing crude surfaces. Prying off moldings with the use of this tool causes no damage to the surrounding wall or surfaces or even to the molding.
With all the things that this super-thin yet absolutely strong multi-purpose pry bar can do, it is bound to be one of the most useful implements in your collection.
