An Extreme Deck by B.P. Way
As featured in the 2008 CorrectDeck calendar (April); this deck has more complex curves in it than an algorithm……
- 5 Serpentine shaped stairs
- 48″ curved joist & railing system
- A barrel ceiling built from custom plywood trusses & lined with Sapeli hardwood from the African rainforest. (Click here to see how trusses were built)
Other Cool Features:
- All trim & railings are fabricated from Azek. The only wood used in this deck is the Pressure Treated framing material.
- The built in kitchen you are looking at was custom fabricated by myself. All interior hardware is S.S. The cabinets are PVC material, the stainless steel doors were made by Danver Co. in Wallingford, CT. The Granite Countertop was by Route 80 Lumber & Millwork in North Branford, CT.
- The roof has a custom gutter system made from PVC & drains down the inside of the columns.
- There was also a misting system installed on the roof line to keep the guests cool on those hot summer days.
